As the 2014-2015 high school and college year starts, we send you our greetings and best wishes for a rewarding year.

The We Are Not Your Soldiers project is ready to visit your school or classroom with Iraq/Afghanistan-era veterans to talk about their on-the-ground experience in occupying countries, where civilians pay the price.

We also have a new format this year — which can be done either as a stand-alone program or in addition to the visits with the veterans — to broaden the relationship of We Are Not Your Soldiers to curriculum in high schools and colleges. We can provide screenings of two films on drone warfare — one a documentary, the other a short feature film — and then engage students in a follow-up discussion. Tell us your preference: either film or both.

Transportation funds are needed to bring veterans, who may live at some distances, to schools requesting their presence. We also have to provide materials to support this program. Please give generously online or send a check or money order. You may choose to donate through our fiscal sponsor, Alliance for Global Justice, for a tax deduction.
