By Mike Hastie, Army Medic Viet Nam
Once again I am confronted with so many U.S. lies as I watch how the U.S. government uses Afghanistan’s children to convince the American people that we are the greatest country in the world. I have been looking at many pictures of American soldiers displaying compassion as they help Afghan children during the chaos at the airport in Kabul. As soldiers I am sure their concerns are real, but it is what the U.S. government does with those images that will propagandize everything.
This is a picture of me in Viet Nam as a soldier when I was in a Vietnamese village treating children who had various medical problems. When I was in Viet Nam I went into several Vietnamese villages and Montagnard villages treating hundreds of civilians. Why? Because it was all propaganda. I am going to say this real slow: “While I was doing this, and for countless other U.S. medics throughout the war, it was a front to cover up the horrible killing of Vietnamese civilians during the entire Viet Nam War.” These images were shown to the American people back in the United States.

The U.S. was responsible for over 20 million bomb craters during the
war in Southeast Asia, which of course included Cambodia and Laos. The U.S. bombed those countries unmercifully!! And when you add in the millions and millions of U.S. artillery rounds that we also fired, you have war slaughter that is far beyond the comprehension of the human mind.
Along with the still photographs I have looked at involving Afghan children,
I have also watched the film footage of American soldiers showing their deep concern. And of course the U.S. news media will be milking these images to extreme.
The UN found that at least 26,025 children were killed or maimed in the fighting in Afghanistan just between the years 2005 and 2019.
Going back to Viet Nam, can you imagine how many children were blown to pieces with 20 million bomb craters? Can you imagine how many Vietnamese children were blown to pieces with millions and millions of artillery rounds from U.S. Fire Bases and Navy ships. My unit in Viet Nam had 3 fire bases with heavy artillery – 155mm howitzers, 8 inch guns, and 175mm guns. We also had assault helicopters and Cobra gunships.

America, you committed mass murder in Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other countries around the world, and you do not know this. You do not know this because it would annihilate your core belief system. The U.S. Government knows this, and that is why Empires get away with murder.
Afghanistan is currently in massive chaos, and it will get much worse.
Once again, the U.S. Government with spin this story until we all fall down.
Ashes, ashes…
that reminds me of a nursery rhyme…
Lying is the most powerful weapon in war.
