All our April We Are Not Your Soldiers school visits continued to be conducted remotely. We began by going to three classes at a Manhattan college where the students viewed “Collateral Murder” and then discussed, with Army veteran John Burns, the film, his own experiences in the military and the implications of ethics and technology, the subject of their classes.
The next stop was a high school where Army veteran Will Griffin spoke and presented a slide show to five classes. He then also presented to three classes at a community college.
We are so very pleased to announce that Joy Damiani, also a U.S. Army veteran who was stationed in Iraq, is now a We Are Not Your Soldiers speaker. She shared her experiences with five high school classes. Welcome to Joy!
